YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Ohio Valley Teen challenge wants Mahoning county residents to know they are not going door-to-door. The organization says it has received calls stating two black males, possibly teenagers, are knocking on doors claiming they are selling candy for Teen challenge.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Unfortunately, jobless rates in the valley continue to worsen. Youngstown’s rate jumped to 13.5% from 13.3% in May. Warren’s unemployment saw a much larger hike in June to 13.1% percent from 12.3% in May.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Ohio gasoline prices have risen 2 cents in the last week. The latest survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express says the statewide average price for regular-grade gasoline is up 2 cents from $2.70 last Monday.
